We began the evening setting up to pass out hot dogs and drinks to all our neighbors while they were trick-or-treating. We have two reasons for beginning this tradition: 1. to celebrate Kade's birthday and 2. to get to know our neighbors better. Here is Keith grilling the hallo-weenies :)
Here is our favorite Batman and Superman waiting to go get candy.
Kamden thought that since he was Bat-man, he should have a bat. Seems like pretty good logic to me. And I don't know what Kade had just done, but he totally looks like he just got caught.
And we're off to go trick-or-treating while daddy stays and grills more hallo-weenies.
We actually got this pumpkin outfit for Kade before he was born assuming he would be here before the 31st. Since they don't allow trick-or-treating at the hospital for the newborns, Kade never got to wear his first costume. But that's o.k., because his newest brother, Kale, got to wear the costume for his first Halloween.
...and we're back to look (and taste) the loot we got from our sweet neighbors.
